Home Language Questionnaire (1)

The Home Language Questionnaire is designed to gather information about the languages a child is exposed to and uses across different environments, including at home, school, and in the community. It helps identify the primary language(s) spoken by the child, the frequency and context of language use with caregivers and others, and the child’s level of exposure to English and other languages over time. This information supports accurate understanding of the child’s linguistic background and is used to inform educational planning, assessment selection, and interpretation of language, learning, and developmental outcomes.
